The public and press are encouraged to attend all regular and special meetings of the Board.

In order to ensure full dissemination of its official actions, to apprise the public of the educational program and to hear the views of the public, the Board provides a period of public participation at each of its regular or special meetings.

The Board reserves the right to establish rules for the conduct of its meetings, including such matters as the time at which the public will be heard, who may speak and for how long. All such rules shall be monitored by the chairman, but the Board may overrule the chairman by majority vote.

Notice of all Board meetings will be published on the ESD website. Notice will also be sent to any other media representative or legitimate community agency or group registering with the superintendent.
