The Board positively forbids canvassing or selling on district premises without the prior consent of the superintendent. Any sales representatives making casual calls to staff members should be courteously turned away.
Calls by sale representatives in connection with possible purchases within the building authority are subject to the control of the superintendent and are permissible.
The ESD superintendent or designee may authorize demonstrations of equipment. Demonstrations without purchasing agent approval are prohibited.
Sales representatives are not permitted to call on staff members without authorization of the superintendent or designee.
The superintendent or designee may give permission to sales representative of educational products to see members of the staff at times that will not interfere with the educational programs.
No copies of the County School Directory shall be given to any sales representative without superintendent approval.
Advertising is not allowed in the district unless it is approved by the superintendent. No district employee will receive compensation of any kind from any vendor for the sale of supplies or services.
